Lord God our Father, we pray that you would guide and uphold your Church with your unfailing goodness,
so that in times of prosperity we should not lose our zeal, and in times of adversity we would have faith
in your Word and be steadfast in our endurance, through Jesus Christ our Lord we pray. Amen.
