Greetings and Welcome
Silent Prayer and Preparation
*Call to Worship Psalm 63
O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you: my soul thirsts for you, my
body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have
seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and glory, Because your
love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my
hands. My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of food; with
singing lips my mouth will praise you.
*Hymn 77 Praise to the Lord, the Almighty
*The Daily Prayer of the Week
Almighty God, you have built your church upon the foundation of the
apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone,
Grant us to be so joined together in unity of spirit by their teaching,
that we may grow as a holy temple acceptable to you, through Jesus
Christ our Lord we pray. Amen.
Response “We Bow Down”
You are Lord of creation and Lord of my life,
Lord of the land and the sea;
You were Lord of the heavens before there was time,
And Lord of all lords you will be.
We bow down and worship you, Lord (3x)
Lord of all lords you will be.
You are King of creation and King of my life,
King of the land and the sea;
You were King of the heavens before there was time,
And King of all kings you will be.
We bow down and we crown you the King (3x)
King of all kings you will be.
Confession of Sin
Almighty God, maker of all things and judge of all peoples, we
acknowledge our sins and wickedness before you, which we from time
to time have committed in thought, word and deed against your holiness.
The remembrance of them is grievous and the burden of them is
intolerable. Grant us repentance for the wrong which we have done and
and forgive us all that is past. Have mercy upon us, most merciful Father,
for the sake of your Son Jesus Christ and give us grace that we may from
now serve you in newness of life, to the honor and glory of your name.
Silent Prayer and Personal Confession
